Ambitious to become a successful businessman, Ram Prasad worked hard and made his dream come true. Apart from doing business, he finds happiness in planting trees.

Ram Prasad Suwalka has been running his business since 1985. He owns a dealership for Apollo Tyres and also deals in Tata Motors spare parts. He says he believes in quality products and delivery of timely service to his customers.

Ram Prasad was born in a village at Kotri in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. His parents wanted him to study further. But Ram Prasad wanted to become a big businessman so he was not interested in studies, says Ram Prasad.

Sharing about his entry into the field of business, Ram Prasad says that he came to Udaipur in 1974 and started a business with his elder brother. He continued with his brother till 1985. Then in 1985, he started his own business. Initially, he encountered several challenges and obstacles in his journey.

Then in 1999, he started a dealership of Apollo Tyres. Then he also started dealing in TATA motors genuine parts. Presently, he has four branches, one each at Kishangarh and Bhilwara, and two in Udaipur.

Sharing his Covid experience, Ram Prasad says that he paid full salary to his employees despite business being shut. He also helped Corona warriors in whatever way he could, during the pandemic.

Ram Prasad says that he has received cooperation from everyone who came his way. He considers his parents as his role models and also regards his elder brother and his wife as inspirations who always motivate and support him.

Sharing about his hobbies and interests, Ram Prasad says that he likes to do agriculture. He has a field in which he has planted about 3000 trees and plants of different varieties. He has trees and plants of all types of fruits and vegetables on his farm. He himself takes care to water them and looks after them. If any tree dries,  he feels very bad.

To one and all, Ram Prasad advises that they should be honest, hardworking and confident. Also, they should be very careful in doing business.
